Mission\/Core purpose of the Job<\/u><\/strong>:<\/u><\/p>\n

  • Implement technologies and systems that meet the needs of Coop\u2019s Customers and Staff<\/li>\n
  • Delivery of technology solutions that support current and future programs.<\/li>\n
  • Work with Head, IST to exchange best practice, develop cross-government strategic direction and deploy systems that support Coop\u2019s business around Financial Services.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Specific Duties & Responsibilities: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n
    \n
  • IST operations & support \u2013 varying tasks including report generation, vendor engagement & technical support<\/li>\n
  • Provides basic troubleshooting, repair and maintenance for computer equipment and may assist with testing personal computers and peripherals on a network to diagnose, hardware versus software problems.<\/li>\n
  • Write codes and test software based upon software specifications and design<\/li>\n
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary<\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software<\/li>\n
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing software<\/li>\n
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary<\/li>\n

Knowledge & Skills Required<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Proficiency in HTML<\/strong>, CSS <\/strong>and Javascript<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in .NET MVC<\/strong>, Web APIs and .NET Core<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in React JS<\/strong> for Web and React Native<\/strong> for Mobile Development<\/li>\n
  • Understanding of Angular<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform<\/strong> Tools. Specifically, Power Apps<\/strong>, Sharepoint<\/strong>, Power Automate<\/strong> and Microsoft Forms<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Good knowledge of SQL <\/strong>and Database Administration<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Estimation and budget scoping skills<\/li>\n
  • Good communication and inter-personal skills.<\/li>\n
  • Good experience in customer services.<\/li>\n
  • Good knowledge of IT Administration and Management of IT Operation.<\/li>\n
  • Good Microsoft Office skills with knowledge of O365 administration. <\/strong><\/li>\n
  • High problem-solving ability with algorithms and data structures.<\/li>\n
  • Code and test software based upon software specifications and design.<\/li>\n
  • Time Management<\/li>\n
  • Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary<\/li>\n
  • Prepare design documentation<\/li>\n
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software<\/li>\n
  • Team play, and ability to adapt fast to a new environment.<\/li>\n

    Key Performance Indicators<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Percentage of projects to be completed within the agreed upon \/ acceptable period.<\/li>\n
    • Percentage of support service request resolved within the agreed upon \/ acceptable period.<\/li>\n
    • Percentage of software outage (unavailability) due to implementation of planned changes relative to service hours.<\/li>\n
    • Percentage of outage (unavailability) due to incidents in the IT environment, relative to service hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Bachelor\u2019s degree from a recognized university with a minimum of second-class Lower division.<\/li>\n
      • Minimum of 3 years\u2019 cognate work experience from a reputable organization\/Institution<\/li>\n
      • Experience in IT operation<\/li>\n
      • Possession of ITIL or any other related certification(s) will be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
